I just arrived in Romania and its indeed cold and snowy here.
The problem is that there is no real infrastructure to speak of taking care of the snow here. I would say the government has a lot to ask for regarding taking care of its people in this weather.
As I was flying in yesterday , it was evident, from air, to see that the snow was really covering the whole country as a carpet. People are literally snowed in at some places in the country.
The truck with the donations has, however, arrived safely in Romania. We talked to the driver today and he expect to deliver the donations tomorrow, Monday. I sort of doubt it. We can just wait and see what will happen tomorrow. It is still snowing and is expected to do so until Wednesday. Well, I’m here and can only wait now.
Keep warm people,
