Some words, conversations, and meetings stick like glue

There are some words and conversations that stick like glue. Some meetings with some people also stick like glue. Those conversations and meet ups don’t need to be long.

Sometimes there is only one phrase even, that someone said to me,  in the blink of an eye, that goes straight into my system. Sometimes those words can be hard to receieve because they call for an action, or they call for me to step up and exceed expectations.

Two phrases that stayed with me since a long time ago are in Latin:

Carpe diem and Amor vincit omnia. I came across them at Upper Secondary School when studying Latin. Young at heart at that time, but when you think about the deeper meaning of both of them I still love them.

Another phrase that came later in life is :

Be the change you want to see in the world , by  Mahattma Gandhi

It calls for action. That’s why I like it.

Be the change you want to see in the world, goes well with ONEITEM too.

ACTIONS SPEAKS.

Keep warm people,

Yvette
